After this primary maturation, the whisky is blended in a large vat that contains whisky from previous batches of this release. Since the "Solera" vat is never emptied, a small percentage of very old whisky is present in every bottle. The nose offers rich scents of vanilla, honey, and orchard fruit with a bit of baking spice in the
