Cream Stone & Metal Angel on Salvage Wood black beach glass pondering a major life changeThis cream stone angel with rusty metal halo sits on a 5 1 2 x 9 chunk of salvage wood, stained a rich chocolate brown color, then washed with charcoal gray paint. Theres a bit of copper brown glitter and also a slight turquoise patina in the halo. This is a diversion for me. I played with staining wood, which shows the grain patterns in the wood. One edge of the wood is rough, rustic. And Ive never used cream stones, but I think they look lovely with
